The Snow Pools Story
Honouring Bill
Bill has dedicated 35 years to local pool maintenance. Over the past few years, Bill's son and his friends have taken over a majority of the company's management due to Bill's battle with Huntington's disease. Despite being diagnosed with HD over a decade ago, Bill's dedication to serving pools never once wavered. Retirement is not in his vocabulary... he was serving pools even when he could no longer drive, and there was nothing you could do to stop him! He has been an exemplary role model for the HD community, and while his battle has become increasingly challenging, his courage remains.
This past summer, in his honour, Bill's kids hosted the first-ever Snow Run for Huntington's disease. With support from the community, we raised over $6000 while raising awareness of this awful disease. We hope to continue hosting similar events moving forward and will continue to channel the strength shown by Bill throughout his journey. While we will no longer be operating the company, the page will remain here to honour the career and life of one remarkable pool boy.
